Comments
The first time i heard this i was listening to a john peel show on the radio. yep i'm a dinosaur..
Apologies if someone has already pointed this out (I've done my best to look at all the comments) but the Coronation Street theme's real title is 'The Lancashire Blues' (Eric Spear) and it's a great piece of music in its own right. We've all heard it so many times that it has indeed become a little 'dreary' (mostly, I think, due to its association with all those opening scenes showing smoking chimneys, rain-swept slate roofs and cobble stones). But as a bona-fide bit of English 1960s blues, I think it's fair game for the dub treatment. It sounds great, in both the versions heard here.
awesomeness
Please may I use this music for a few seconds as an intro to one video??
this is friggin cool man

i feel like it's too fast. i wish i had my record player hooked up and cold check. but it sounds cool this way, more energetic than i remember.
Now this is a cool cover: I wanna get this album. Bit of a Corrie fan myself :)

When i said Core in that comment it is coronation street
Actually I like playing core theme as a laugh to my friends but when I played this to them they say quite good
quiet boring
I could see this as being an eighties theme tune.
