Review by Spencer Sullivan

Kazuhito Yamashita's Fandanguillo Spanish Recital is a stunning album that showcases his virtuosity and skill as a classical guitarist. The album features a mix of traditional Spanish pieces and original compositions, all of which are performed with impeccable technique and sensitivity.

Yamashita's playing is incredibly expressive and nuanced, with each note and phrase carefully crafted to convey the emotion and beauty of the music. His interpretations of pieces like "Asturias" and "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" are particularly impressive, capturing the intricate rhythms and melodies of these classic works.

In addition to his technical prowess, Yamashita also demonstrates a deep understanding and appreciation for the Spanish guitar tradition. His original compositions, such as "Fandanguillo" and "Zapateado," are inspired by traditional Spanish music but also showcase his unique style and approach to the instrument.
