I used to find this show strangely arousing.
And don't forget the Brits pronounce it hayche not the silent way we Yanks do. This was a brilliant series the first soap I ever got hooked on and the Twin peaks came along in1990.
How many shows could have a crossover fanbase of mums and nans with their kids, and stoners in their teens.

Huge hit in the U.K. and Ireland, never missed a episode.
My sister's got me hook on this show,loved it ❤️
This used to be shown really late at night in Sweden in the 90's, three episodes a week. Despite the time slot it gained quite a following. It was always a treat when it was time for a new episode. Good times, different times.
Loved watching this with Grandma Malley.
