Review by Col Ashton

Dublin Corporation's album, Melting Pot, is a true masterpiece that showcases the band's incredible talent and versatility. The album is a fusion of different genres, including rock, folk, and blues, and it features an eclectic mix of instruments, from guitars and drums to fiddles and mandolins.

From the very first track, the listener is drawn into the band's unique sound and energy. Songs like "Dublin City Blues" and "The Devil's Own" are full of raw emotion and powerful vocals, while "The Lonesome Boatman" and "The Parting Glass" showcase the band's more traditional folk influences.

What sets Melting Pot apart from other albums is its ability to seamlessly blend different styles and genres. The band's musicianship is evident in every track, and they expertly navigate complex rhythms and melodies with ease.

I loved this band so much. My father was addicted to a live album of theirs and I heard it daily for years. Never got sick of it either.

I roadied for the Dublin Corp back in the 70s, Sadly they wouldn't or couldn't play this nugget after Peter Law on vocals left the band. ✌
