About Aphrodite
The Drum 'n' Bass DJ and producer Gavin King, who was born in Aberystwyth, Wales, but raised in Eltham, is one of the original rave scene and Jungle pioneers. He runs the label and has founded with Michael Hearn aka .
He took his artist name from the name of a house night he used to co-promote from 1988 1990 whilst at Warwick University. He held a regular Sunday show on pirate station Pulse FM until the station shut down in 1995.

I got this CD the same Christmas that I got The Ocarina of Time (Zelda) on my N64, there cannot be any moment where I don't hear this and think of running around Hyrule.
this was a great tracklist and something id listen ty a lot in my first car :-) U should check out Pure Drum n bass too. its very good

One of the first DnB albums I got my hands on. >20 years later and I am playing this to my 2 year old in the car. He loves it, and it brings a tear to my eye when he asks me to play "drum n bass daddy"

Warhead, The 1 and Splurt were 3 of the biggest, most played tunes of 98.
Never associate this with Aphrodite nor Finn as there’s minimal jump up present. They’re not bad tunes but it sounds much more like an Artcore compilation than Urban Takeover ?
