I purchased this 45/ single in 1980, and pretty much played it to death. It was a great song to sing along to, and Amy has a very unique voice.

I don’t recall this song but noticed this was her only top 40 song. I am familiar with the song she sang at the end of the movie “Teen Wolf” and used to like that song called “Shooting for the moon.” I don’t think that charted though.

When I first heard this song I knew Michael McDonald had to have something to do with it. I bought the 45 and I still have it!. Years later I found out that Amy is his wife since 1983. Nice to know that two talented people collaborated to create this song. Married and had 2 children and still together after 39 years!

Just came from the Nolans version of this, and must say this is much better. Has more swing to it. Her voice cuts into the lyrics with more expression too. That sax, and bass too. Sparkles!
