Review by ناصر الكعبي

Sydney MacEwan's album "Loch Lomond Bonnie Mary Of Argyle" is a timeless collection of Scottish folk songs that captures the essence of the country's rich musical heritage. The album features MacEwan's soulful voice accompanied by traditional Scottish instruments such as the bagpipes, fiddle, and accordion.

The standout track on the album is the title track "Bonnie Mary Of Argyle," a hauntingly beautiful song that tells the story of a young woman who is forced to leave her true love to marry a wealthy man. MacEwan's emotive vocals and the gentle strumming of the guitar create a melancholic atmosphere that is both haunting and beautiful.

Another highlight of the album is the track "Loch Lomond," a classic Scottish folk song that has been covered by many artists over the years. MacEwan's version is a stirring rendition that showcases his vocal range and the beautiful harmonies of the backing singers.
