The album Interchange by Quartet feat Ernst Ludwig Petrowsky is a masterpiece of modern jazz. The quartet, consisting of Petrowsky on saxophone and clarinet, pianist Ulrich Gumpert, bassist Günter Lenz, and drummer Günter "Baby" Sommer, showcases their incredible musicianship and improvisational skills throughout the album.

The opening track, "Interchange," sets the tone for the album with its upbeat tempo and intricate melodies. Petrowsky's saxophone solos are particularly impressive, as he effortlessly weaves in and out of the other instruments.

"Rhythm Section," another standout track, features Lenz and Sommer's impeccable rhythm section work, providing the perfect foundation for the other instruments to build upon. Gumpert's piano solos are also noteworthy, showcasing his technical prowess and creativity.
