The perfect soundtrack to curry mile on Wilmslow Road after an evening Manchester City game in the early 80s

Ian Curtis loved Reggae and this track by Keith Hudson was one of his favourites.
Of all their stuff and the 35 years l've listened to them, l go back to this. I love this song. Give me the post lan days anytime.
Años buscando este temon. Recuerdo que cuando tenía 13 fui a una ocupa y habían unos tipos re drogados escuchando esto. Sabía que era de New Order, solo por su bella voz. ?
Dub reggae? New Order? Believe it!
Just sublime.
"Turn the heater on" and "We all stand" is the best double punch on any New Order record. it's subtle but gets you deep inside
If you had film of Moss Side and Hulme in the early 80s at night this would be the perfect soundtrack.
Greatest song new order has ever written
Cover or not this the most enjoyable song I’ve ever heard from new order. No wonder this was ian’s Fav song
Like the mysterious vibe in this song???
But you know what everybody? We are a better World because of Joy Division, New Order and the petty off shoots they band does, as if!!! Let's face it, they, meaning All of New Order would rather do it the current way they are doing it. So what, if they don't get that New Order is not sans Hooky. Everybody has their reasons. They all know how we Feel about it. Let's hope they change their minds. And if they don't, it's not the end of the world. Praise be to Factory Records as well!!!
Still sounds as good as the first day i heard it ❤
That's right!!! It's their only cover. Reggae Lives!
Remember hearing this when it was aired on the JP show and being blown away. Thought 5-8-6 was brilliant as well and it got ruined by the time it found its way on to Power, Corruption and Lies.
Beautiful.
My favourite New Order song. It has a dream like quality too it
I like this a lot, never listened to it until today and I bought that Peel Session when it was released!
Heard this 1st on Radio 1, one Saturday afternoon, 1985, at work.... Blew me away at 19...Still got it on original vinyl
I did not know that was a cover !!!

Very good tribute to unfairly-overlooked Jamaican artist Keith Hudson.
No solo Bowie, Reed y Pop eran sus ídolos musicales sino también este artista de reggae (Keith Hudson), dicho sea de paso buen cover.
The only time Peter Hook ever played a bassline in a traditional way
I had this. So regret selling it when I was stone broke :(
