About Midnight Oil
Rock band formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1972.
The Midnight Oil lineup remained quite stable over the band's long career: Peter Garrett as lead singer (and, early on, synthesizer), Jim (James) Moginie on guitar and keyboards, Martin Rotsey on guitar, and Rob (Robert) Hirst on drums. Andrew "Bear" James, the first bass player, left in 1979, replaced by Peter Gifford, who left in 1987 to be replaced by New Zealander Bones Hillman (born Wayne Stevens), ex-, who remained with the group until its dissolution in 2002. was the band's manager and effective sixth member (often credited with the simple title "Business" on albums) throughout. Hillman succumbed to cancer in November 2020.

Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic, just got the CD last month,,saw their last concert at the Hordern,,thank u for sharing and THANK U MiDNIghT OIL
Brilliant ♥️♥️
Finishing off fathers day watching this concert
In my opinion the greatest ever band to see live. The energy of their music and lyrics just continues to pump up the audience until the end of the performance where the crowd just starts to go mad. I love it, I love Midnight Oil and thank god we have such a powerful voice for justice in Australia.
Take this down...it's desecration. Terrible sound, terrible video...it does no justice to this amazing band. I will never know why people post this kind of phone filmed crap on youtube. It's like it's all about them and not the artist.
Excelente concierto saludos desde Torreón México
1.
Too many drunkn dickheads in the crowd startn fights
They were fucking great back in the day, possibly the best rock and roll band ever. Period. I hope Peter was just having a bad night but it seemed like he'd forgotten how to sing and chose to shout instead, you've got annoying high hat throughout a lot of the songs trying to add some high notes to an otherwise second rate vocal performance, it's like he'd forgotten what a microphone is for... Sigh..... I'm possibly the biggest Midnight Oil fan in the world so it makes me feel Sad to see this
The only Aussie band who could fill the mcg!
Tiene que venir a la ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
