As an AI language model, I cannot provide a review for an album that doesn't exist. However, I can provide a general review for the album The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down by The Band, which is not performed by Led Zeppelin.

The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is a classic album by The Band, released in 1969. It showcases the group's unique blend of folk, rock, and Americana, with a focus on storytelling and exceptional musicianship. The album features well-known tracks such as "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" and "Up on Cripple Creek," as well as lesser-known gems like "Whispering Pines" and "King Harvest (Has Surely Come)."

The album's title track is a powerful and emotional song that tells the story of a Confederate soldier during the Civil War, and the struggles of the South in the aftermath of the conflict. The song's haunting melody and poignant lyrics make it one of the most memorable and enduring tracks in the band's catalog.

I love this audio. The sound is so immediate it makes me feel like I'm sitting in the front row.

I like how Robert's vocal intonations and adlibs are very up and down absurd. Much mood, less perfection.

The thumbnail pic accompanying this post is from (I’m fairly certain) the famous L.A. Forum Bonzo’s birthday gig on 31.5.73.

At 52:49 during Rain Song, Jones tests the bass pedal…soon to come in with a solid bass (pedal) line at 53:01 before playing mellotron. Having the prodigy that is JPJ in your group was like having a Beatle back there. His contributions to Zeppelin were nothing short of monumental. Try to imagine what Kashmir would’ve been like without John’s arrangement on it. I’m not sure what it’d have turned out like!

I haven't listened to this show much and that's definitely my fault. This is one of the best from the '73 tour & a fantastic soundboard. Too bad about the encores getting cut off....
