Un swing diabólico, una técnica instrumental de ensueño, unas composiciones y unos arreglos dificilísimos pero a la vez asequibles, un sonido personalísimo. Tuve el privilegio de escucharles en vivo y aún recuerdo la emoción de aquel momento. No en valde Duke Ellington les tenía una admiración sin límites.
