Review by Jörg Schöneburg

No Can Do Soon It Will Be Sunday, by Joe Loss & His Orchestra, is a delightful album that brings back the golden age of swing music. The album is a collection of 20 songs that are both upbeat and romantic, showcasing the incredible talent of Joe Loss and his orchestra.

The album starts with the lively "No Can Do," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The songs that follow are a mix of classic swing tunes, including "In the Mood," "Take the A Train," and "Moonlight Serenade," as well as romantic ballads like "As Time Goes By" and "I'll Be Seeing You."

The arrangements of the songs are impeccable, and the musicianship of the orchestra is outstanding. The brass section is particularly impressive, adding a rich and full sound to each song. The vocals are also excellent, with guest singers adding their own unique style to the songs they perform.

About Joe Loss & His Orchestra

The Joe Loss Orchestra was one of the most successful acts of the Big Band era in the 1940s. The Joe Loss Orchestra carries on to this day under the musical direction of Todd Miller, who was a vocalist with the band for 19 years prior to Loss's death. In 1990, Joe entrusted the leadership solely to Todd. The Orchestra has been in constant operation since 1930. It is Britain's longest running live entertainment unit of all time.
