Out Of This World is a beautifully crafted album that showcases the talents of jazz legends Mulgrew Miller, Lonnie Plaxico, and Ronnie Burrage. From start to finish, the album is a masterclass in musical improvisation, with each musician bringing their unique style and energy to the table.
Miller's piano playing is sublime, effortlessly moving between delicate melodies and complex chord progressions. Plaxico's bass provides a solid foundation for the music, while also adding flourishes of his own. And Burrage's drumming is simply exceptional, driving the rhythm forward with a deft touch.
