My 1,467th most played album. James Gang - Thirds. The third studio album was released in mid 1971. Peaked at # 27 on the charts went gold. Great song "Walk Away" amazing only peaked at # 51 on the charts this had steady play on Denver radio for decades."Midnight Man" was another regular play on the radio that did not chart at all. "White Man / Black Man" should have been a hit. It's a great record from start to finish Joe Walsh is amazing! My 13th most played Joe. behind: "Hotel California", "The Long Run", "Long Road out of Eden", "So What", "Barnstorm", "James Gang 15 Greatest hits", "The Smoker You Drink", "Best Of", "Recorded Live", "But Seriously, Folks.,", James Gang Rides Again and "Ordinary Average Guy".
That song puts me in weed & whiskey mood
Romans 10:9
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
Jimmy Vox led that band.....hence James Gang
Dang cool ass jam bro!
great rock
My first concert in the US. Love joe Walsh and the James Gang
I love the way the vinyl version sounds here... would you mind putting up "Midnight Man" I would greatly appreciate it......
"Got mad bitches back then with this song, loved those 8 tracks!"
Music just isn't done like this anymore....
Cruising music!
Back when Joe Walsh had some balls, before he became an Eagle & a pussy!!
This is when they were really rockin' ....
Organ very subtle. Great song.
Flipped this James Gang on my car's CD player three weeks ago as I was heading west to Denver on U.S. 6 west of Lincoln, NE. Those endless miles of grain bins and freight trains seemed to just slip by....
Jimmy Fox (drummer) is playing the Hammond B-3 organ on this one...
Well, I wake up
Wonderin' how long I've been here
Daylight
Wipin' the night from my eyes
Wake up
New day is gonna bring good times
Daylight
Hopin' to see the sun rise
Drivin'
Gotta catch up to the next town
Flyin'
Ten thousand people to find
Drivin'
Makin' up time on the freeway
Flyin'
Leavin' the last town behind
Well, I'm tired
Tossin' and turnin' 'til sleep comes
Sleepin'
Dreamin' of places to see
Tired
Shakin' my head 'til the peace comes
Sleepin'
Dreamin' of things I could be
Wonderin' how long I've been here
Daylight
Wipin' the night from my eyes
Wake up
New day is gonna bring good times
Daylight
Hopin' to see the sun rise
Drivin'
Gotta catch up to the next town
Flyin'
Ten thousand people to find
Drivin'
Makin' up time on the freeway
Flyin'
Leavin' the last town behind
Well, I'm tired
Tossin' and turnin' 'til sleep comes
Sleepin'
Dreamin' of places to see
Tired
Shakin' my head 'til the peace comes
Sleepin'
Dreamin' of things I could be
Great song written by Fox; wish he had written more . . . . . .
MUY BUENA MÚSICA
OMG! I am not worthy...
This one was written by Jimmy Fox, who plays drums & organ (presumably overdubbed LOL) along with the incredible guitar & voice of Joe Walsh. Dale Peters provides spot-on bass.
Take a trip and jam my guitar lsd style ha
very mellow album
Ahhh Captain Beyond.... What a great album COVER
Saw this in concert. Exceptional.
