Review by Kimberley Deutsch

Isidoro Fagoaga's eponymous album is a masterful display of his talents as a musician and composer. The album features a range of musical styles, blending traditional Basque music with elements of jazz and classical music.

Fagoaga's skill as a guitarist is particularly evident throughout the album, with intricate fingerpicking and virtuosic solos on tracks such as "Lau Haizeetara" and "Sorginak". His compositions are both complex and accessible, showcasing his ability to create beautiful melodies while still pushing the boundaries of traditional music.

The album also features a number of guest musicians, including saxophonist Perico Sambeat and accordionist Kepa Junkera, who add depth and richness to the arrangements. The production is clean and polished, allowing the intricate details of the music to shine through.
