Remember, the latest album from the indie rock duo Fiery Furnaces, is a bold and experimental collection of songs that showcases the band's unique musical vision and storytelling prowess.
From the opening track "Down at the So and So on Somewhere," with its catchy piano riffs and cryptic lyrics, to the haunting ballad "The Fortune Teller's Revenge," the album takes listeners on a journey through a range of musical genres and moods.
One standout track is "Catamaran," a frenetic and infectious tune that combines elements of punk, funk, and psychedelia to create a truly original sound. Another highlight is "The End is Near," a slow-burning epic that builds to a cathartic climax with its soaring vocals and intricate instrumentation.
Throughout the album, the Fiery Furnaces showcase their trademark wit and storytelling skills, weaving intricate narratives and characters into their songs. From the tragic tale of "The Seventh Takin' of the Seventh Takin'" to the surreal imagery of "The Unconditional Discipline of the Bastard Prince," the band's lyrics are both enigmatic and deeply affecting.

About The Fiery Furnaces
The Fiery Furnaces are a US indie rock band formed in 2000 in Brooklyn, New York by sibling duo and . Experimental in nature, the band's style changed with every release, and lineup with every tour. The project went on hiatus in 2011, with Matthew Friedberger moving to France, and Eleanor Friedberger pursuing a solo career.
In February 2020, The Fiery Furnaces announced their reunion, with a single on Third Man Records and concert at Pitchfork Music Festival. However, the festival was cancelled due to Covid-19. In 2021, the PMF performance went ahead as planned, with the announcement of a fall tour and multiple self-releases online.
