The Country Hall of Fame album by Ernest Tubb is a classic country music album that features some of the most iconic songs in the genre. The album was released in 1966 and features 12 tracks that showcase Tubb's unique style and voice.

The album opens with the title track, "The Country Hall of Fame," which is a tribute to the greats of country music who have been inducted into the hall of fame. The song sets the tone for the rest of the album, which is filled with classic country ballads and upbeat honky-tonk tunes.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Walking the Floor Over You," which is one of Tubb's most famous songs. The song features Tubb's signature yodel and tells the story of a man who can't stop thinking about his lost love.

Another highlight of the album is "Thanks a Lot," a classic country breakup song that features Tubb's smooth vocals and a catchy melody. The song has become a staple in the country music canon and has been covered by many other artists over the years.
