I love this song , I have this on the Dave Clark Five Return Album .
It's the Play'n'Play song. I have loved already this song for 50 years
Can't You See That She's Mine is a Dave Clark Five classic and the first indicator that this band was more than boom-boom Bits and Pieces. Several very serviceable originals are featured on this LP, but the highlights are monster covers of On Broadway and Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah.Released in June 1964. The band's second US album, released seven months after President Kennedy's assassination and four months after Meet The Beatles.
Original: The Dave Clak Five ( U.K. ) - I love you no more ( 1964 ). Cover: Los Belmont's ( Mexico ) - Enciende la luz ( 196? ).
Tough sound for 1963!
Can I borrow that phrase, please? Kewl!
Sounds great and in STEREO TOO! Hopes to hear more from the Five in Stereo. EDB
So great to dance to!
This is one of my favorite DC5 album tracks. It's just a joyous tune. This song, I think, is the closest the DC5 ever came to actually sounding like the Beatles. Smith sounds a lot like Lennon in spots and the harmony vocals are reminiscent of the Beatles "Tell me Why." Take out Denis' sputtering sax and it really does sound a lot like the Fab 4. A great, great tune.
the great DC5
I want that song on Spotify!
beautiful song
