Review by Lizzi

Hadouken! is a British band that has been around since 2006, and their album That Boy That Girl was released in 2008. The album is a perfect example of the band's unique blend of electronic, punk, and dance music.

The album starts off with the titular track "That Boy That Girl," which immediately sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song is a high-energy, danceable track with catchy lyrics and an infectious beat that will get anyone moving.

Throughout the rest of the album, Hadouken! keeps the energy high with tracks like "Get Smashed Gate Crash" and "Declaration of War." The band's punk influences are evident in tracks like "Leap of Faith" and "What She Did," which feature aggressive guitar riffs and driving drum beats.

The album also features some slower, more introspective tracks like "Crank It Up" and "The Driving Rain," which showcase the band's ability to create emotional, atmospheric music.

With you all on the nostalgic rerun. Makes me think getting my Nike high tops on and the skinniest jeans on, bright coloured hoodie too ( yellow or purple). And just going to the park with few mates drinking alcopops and Bluetooth speakers on full with h! on and more. Most of you can relate to that surely. Miss this era and hadoukens new stuff too

One of the great songs of the 2000s no one ever talks about. This song fitted my appreciation for the post-hardcore craze with Enter Shikari and Hadouken! and my appreciation of anime.
