@flyingsaucer66, The show was called "Something Else" Host was John Byner. '69-'70
Haha, Mike running for his guitar, this is GREAT!!
This is awesome! Do you know what show this is from? (there seem to be a couple of other music clips here on YouTube from the same show w/John Byner)
CRABBY APPLETON! Yes, they were a great band, but largely flew under the radar. Shame, that. But this song did make the Top 40, I believe.
And John BYNER! OMG, how freakin' YOUNG we were back then! (John Byner turned down the part of "Mork, from Ork").

Agree with Mike. I remember hearing it a few times on the radio back when it scraped the charts in '70. A truly great yet largely ignored rock n roll song.
saw these guys back in 1969 opening for the guess who, i remember the organ player slaming his hammond on the stage, very 60's
Could never understand why Crabby Appleton were so ignored. They were a really great band.
A record that was roughly four years behind its time. And in this case, that's saying a lot!
been looking for this one to show my kids! They should make a movie with Hugh Jackman of these guys. The singer and Hugh look an awful lot alike. Bet the movie would be better than "Almost Famous". Love this band!
They really rock!!
Certainly not ignored by me CJurasin. This is one of my favorist from my time in high school back in the 70s.
One of my favorites during that era.
Quick and propulsive melody, lively percussion, tight rhythm all add up to a memorable tune. Very good.
I think music like this had its narrow time in 1969 to 1972 what was like this hippie rock. I wish there was more music like this.
Who sing the spanish part? Lo que entiendo "mami lucerito no te acuestes a dormir si tomas tu cucurucho de mani olero lero lero lero lero la o lero lero lero lero lero la mami mami..."
Thanks to today's so-called totally shitty music, this music is going to get a revival. How I crave this sound and diversity of talent. I've never heard this song before nor many others because we were so spoiled back in the early and all of the 70's. So this might as well be released in 2019. Thank You !!!
Fantastic !! I can't believe I never hear this on the radio...... ever !
So good!!
This is simply . . . SO GOOD ! ! ! B/w "Go back" was a single with TWO A-sides!
Played this lp constantly. And Rotten to the Core too. And Mr. Fennelly's solos as well. Russ Ballard, Rod Argent...Michael Fennelly are you kidding. What a great time for these geniuses.
Yup, great straight through, start to finish.
