Blowfly's Christmas Party is a festive album that is sure to get anyone in the holiday spirit. The album features a mix of original songs and classic holiday tunes, all with Blowfly's unique and funky twist.
The album starts off strong with "Christmas Party" and "Jingle Bells," both upbeat and fun tracks that set the tone for the rest of the album. "Santa Claus Is Freaking Me Out" is a hilarious and irreverent take on the traditional Christmas song, while "Christmas Time in the Ghetto" is a more serious but still funky track that highlights the struggles of those less fortunate during the holiday season.
Blowfly's Christmas Party also includes some great covers, such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Silent Night," all with Blowfly's signature style. The album closes with "Auld Lang Syne," which is given a funky update and is the perfect way to ring in the new year.
