Wolfe - Wolfe

Review by Ortopedia Alvorada

Wolfe's debut album, self-titled "Wolfe," is a powerful and unique addition to the rock music scene. With a sound that is both heavy and melodic, Wolfe's music is a refreshing change from the cookie-cutter rock bands that dominate the airwaves.

The album's opening track, "The Black Light," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its driving rhythm and haunting vocals. Other standout tracks include "Silent Night," which features a catchy chorus and a killer guitar solo, and "Fading," a melancholy ballad that showcases the band's softer side.

One of the strengths of "Wolfe" is the band's ability to seamlessly blend different genres together. Elements of grunge, metal, and alternative rock can be heard throughout the album, but the band never loses its unique identity.

Another standout feature of the album is the quality of the production. The guitars are crunchy and powerful, the drums are thunderous, and the vocals are crystal clear. It's clear that the band and their producer worked hard to create a polished and professional sound.

Also, there is a cover of this by the Searchers on here, but the WOLFE version is by far top notch!

Good Beatlesque song, the lead singer sounds somewhat like Lennon.

Actually it isn't a King Harvest cover. They covered us as the album this came off was recorded first (1970)

In hindsight, I could have just used a photograph of the album cover. Duh.

Thanks for putting this up - this was my band. Amazingly it was re-released last year on CD - in Korea, and certain remastered tracks are part of the Motown boxed sets of rereleases
