Review by Tonya Heston

Slipstream, the 1976 album by Sutherland Brothers & Quiver, is a captivating and well-crafted work that showcases the band's impressive musicianship and songwriting skills. The album features a mix of folk, rock, and pop influences, creating a unique and dynamic sound that is both catchy and thought-provoking.

The album's opening track, "Dream Kid," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its upbeat tempo and catchy melody. The song's lyrics are reflective and introspective, touching on themes of self-discovery and personal growth.

Other standout tracks include "When the Train Comes," a haunting ballad that showcases the band's strong vocal harmonies, and "Laid Back in Anger," a rollicking rocker that features some impressive guitar work.
