Review by Juan Diego Pereiro Areán

Goodnight Phil Spector Wherever You Are, the latest album by Sam Kogon, is a mesmerizing tribute to the legendary producer Phil Spector. The album is a mix of classic rock and roll, doo-wop, and psychedelic pop, with Kogon's unique voice and style adding a modern twist to the sound.

The album opens with the upbeat track "I Was Always Talking," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The catchy melody and Kogon's confident vocals make for a great introduction to the album. From there, the album takes the listener on a journey through the different styles and sounds that Spector helped create.

Tracks like "When You Were Mine" and "I'm Letting You Go" showcase Kogon's ability to write catchy, melodic pop songs that stick in your head long after the album is over. "I'm Letting You Go" in particular is a standout track, with its soaring chorus and infectious guitar riff.

Throughout the album, Kogon pays homage to Spector's signature Wall of Sound production style, layering instruments and vocals to create a lush, full sound. This is especially evident on tracks like "I'm Letting You Go" and "The Way You Looked When You Were Young," which feature intricate arrangements and harmonies.
