Review by John Barton

Fingertips Part Two is a classic album by the legendary musician Stevie Wonder, released in 1963. The album is a compilation of live performances from his concert at the Regal Theater in Chicago. The album showcases Wonder's incredible musicianship and his ability to captivate audiences with his electrifying performances.

The album features some of Wonder's most popular songs, including "Fingertips," "La La La La La," and "Contract on Love." These songs are performed with a raw energy that only live performances can capture. Wonder's voice is soulful and powerful, and his band is tight and energetic.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Fingertips," which was a huge hit for Wonder. The song features a call-and-response between Wonder and the audience, and the energy in the room is palpable. The audience is clearly having a great time, and Wonder's performance is nothing short of amazing.

On the night of the recording, Wonder, as usual started to leave the stage and the band went into the exit music, as musician and emcee Bill Murray (known professionally as Winehead Willie)[4] exhorted the crowd to "give him a hand"; however, Stevie unexpectedly changed his mind, returning to sing the "goodbye" encore. The other musicians were caught out, and the bass players had changed over to prepare for the next act on the bill, Mary Wells.[5] As Wonder moves into his impromptu encore, the new bass player, Joe Swift, having replaced Larry Moses, can be heard on the recording, yelling out: "What key? What key?"[2][6]

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE GOTTEN TO HEAR BOTH PARTS! Actually Stevie was about to be shelved when UPTIGHT ALRIGHT sealed the deal for him. But this was his launching pad. Never knew Marvin Gaye was on the drums!
