Review by Omar Qadan

The album "Extracting Fish Bones From The Back Of The Despoiler" by Derek Bailey and Greg Goodman is a fascinating exploration of free improvisation. The duo's interplay is masterful, with Bailey's guitar work and Goodman's keyboard playing complementing each other perfectly. The album is full of surprises, with the musicians constantly pushing each other to new heights. There are moments of tranquility and moments of chaos, but everything is held together by the duo's impeccable sense of timing and their ability to listen to each other. The album is a must-listen for anyone interested in avant-garde music or improvisation in general. It is a testament to the power of two musicians working together in perfect harmony.
