Comments
Never forget the freedom march for the purpose and the cause.
RIP Emmett Till
I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Sadly, we still haven't eradicated racism after all those years. Senseless.
God Bless The Staples Singers for the beautiful music they've given us.??

Still the fight for justice goes on.
Specials brought me here
At 2:13, yes I am a white agitator, I am a white person who agitates other white people about their systemic racist attitudes.
We’ve come far, but have farther to go yet.
Brilliant classic and video is incredible!
The spirit of freedom cannot be destroyed!!!!
More than ever is this song needed.
President refuses to denounce white supremacists, instead calls them to his side... we need to walk that Freedom Highway.
Someone below Ricky Gee TV asked where are the protest songs and anthems of today. WTF You been listening to?
They are everywhere. Just listen to an alternative noncommercial station like the MIT radio station WMBR.org, and any other college or community radio station.
You’ll find hundreds and hundreds of protest songs and anthems. For example Pride week is ending today where many of the shows are dedicated to this theme. There’s also a great show today on the Lost and Found program on WMBR.org today Friday, July 3, 2020 devoted to the Fourth of July and freedom in America, all the protest songs and anthems including this one which brought me here. It’s hosted by DJ Alex McNeil and available on the website WMBR.org for up to two weeks from today. Then for legal reasons the playlist will be gone so jump on it if you’re interested in more of this kind of music, and you can check out the entire week’s schedule for the summer of 2020 and all the various shows of all genres of music.

They got their rights, their president. but nothing has changed. ironic.
