Serpent Sex's latest album, Abased Sloughing, is a visceral and intense experience that is not for the faint of heart. From the opening track, "Crawling in Filth," the band's black metal roots are evident in the raw and aggressive guitar riffs and blast beats. The vocals are equally brutal, with guttural growls and shrieks that add to the overall sense of chaos.
