Castles In The Sand, the fourth studio album by Seals & Crofts, released in 1972, is a beautifully crafted collection of songs that showcase the duo's signature sound of folk, rock, and pop. The album features the hit single "Summer Breeze," which became one of the band's most popular songs and remains a classic to this day.
The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Windflowers," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The harmonies between Seals and Crofts are impeccable, and their use of various instruments, including acoustic guitars, violins, and flutes, adds depth and texture to the songs.
Other standout tracks include "Hummingbird," a hauntingly beautiful ballad that showcases the duo's vocal range, and "Diamond Girl," a fun and upbeat tune that showcases their ability to write catchy pop songs.

RIP Jim Seals. The tears stream from my eyes as I remember the music you played for us. Your and Dash Crofts songs will always live in our hearts. You were a genius lyricist and gave us so many wonderful memories. I still have most of your songs on my pc. Like a Summer Breeze, you made us all feel fine when your music came blowing gently through our minds. The first time I heard about the Baha'i Faith with its wonderful message of unity which the world needs more now than ever was in your music. You will never "pass this way again" but your legacy endures.
