Review by Roel Korterink

The album Schubert Songs, featuring performances by Schubert, Gérard Souzay, Jacqueline Bonneau, and Dalton Baldwin, is a stunning collection of some of Schubert's most beloved works. The vocal performances by Souzay are truly exceptional, his voice effortlessly conveying the emotion and depth of each song. Bonneau and Baldwin's accompaniment is equally impressive, their playing perfectly complementing Souzay's vocals. The album is beautifully recorded, with every nuance and detail captured with crystal-clear clarity. Schubert Songs is a must-have for any lover of classical music, and a testament to the enduring power and beauty of Schubert's compositions.
