They weren't in unison at 2:43.
Classic California baroque pop piece, really well produced, although I don't dig the Musique Concrete bridge in the middle or the A capella part. It's experimental but probably ruined any chance of this making the top 40, which I feel it could have otherwise done. "Another Time" is worth a listen also.
Awesome b-side. had this single a long time ago.
Classic song prefere lvy leageue version tho good band tho these
Wow! Does this song represent the 1960s in America or what?!
It's ironic the single version is longer than the album version.
Peaked at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1967. Great little tune. Those random sound effects in the middle are kinda strange, though. The alarm and the baby like cries.
This is so very beautiful. I have your version of "My World Fell Down" (MONO). This version that you have is the REAL version, I think, because the stereo version is cut and lacks the baby crying and the marching band playing. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece!!!!!!!!
Gary Usher... never forget
This is a more obscure oldies song, and it must be a "one hit wonder" group, because I don't recall hearing other notable songs by them. Thanks for giving it a listen!...Friends, Lloyd.
Glen Campbell On Vocals
I did not know that. Thanks for the info and for checking it out...Friends, Lloyd.
Great beach boys type harmonies .minds me of the association and there song Windy in terms of trippy happy 60s
Michael Z. Gordon
Wasn’t Glen Campbell in this group at this time or not for this record?

@SkidRowJim Yeah, that was such a shock to me. They never told me they were putting that into my song so it wasn't until much later that I listened to the longer version that they put in the LP. I couldn't believe they actually did that. Most unusual thing I've ever heard!!
Such an amazing song! So creepy!
Songwriters were Michael Z. Gordon and Jimmy Griffin. Gordon is now a successful movie producer and Griffin joined Bread and had 10 hits in a row. Jimmy died in 2005. He was a great singer and a great friend.
