Vol1 by Saga is an impressive musical offering that showcases the band's unique sound and style. Notes
- This cassette version has a different running order and the album is called Vol.1 and was released together with Vol.2 (Images at Twilight). Together they form a picture of the band (see photo), however the photo used is from 1980 with Jim Gilmour (not Greg Chadd).
- The Perfectionist is titled as just Perfectionist on both tape and cover.
- The timing of the tracks is taken from the inlay.
About Saga
Canadian rock band formed in 1977 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. and Welsh-born vocalist were the principal songwriters. Saga had numerous line-up changes over the years. Ian and Jim Crichton were the only two original members who appeared on every album. Jim Crichton left the band in 2018. Sadler appeared on every release, apart from the 2009 album The Human Condition. Keyboardist was with the band from 1979, making his debut on the album Silent Knight. Drummer performed with Saga until 2003. Both Gilmour and Negus left the band in 1986 and came back in 1992. The lineup was supplemented by many session musicians and live performers from the late 1980s to the late 2000s. Saga have been awarded gold and platinum albums worldwide and have sold more than eight million albums.
