Review by goksel zeybek

Phillip Goodhand Tait's self-titled album is a masterpiece of folk-rock music. The album features 10 tracks that showcase Phillip's unique and soulful voice, which is complemented perfectly by the instrumentation and production.

The album opens with the upbeat and energetic "I'm Alive," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other standout tracks include the hauntingly beautiful "The Last Train Home," the bluesy "It's a Long Way to Heaven," and the introspective "The Heart of Saturday Night."

Phillip's lyrics are poignant and thought-provoking, exploring themes of love, loss, and the human condition. The album's production is top-notch, with each track expertly mixed and mastered to bring out the nuances of Phillip's voice and the accompanying instruments.

I recall the TV advertisement for the album and this song was played in the background.
This was played a great deal on Noel Edmonds's Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 1 in 1973.

There are those of us who know this song, and we are the lucky ones. I have never heard Philip played on the radio - not once ever.
