Clinic - The Second Line

The Second Line by Clinic is a unique and experimental album that offers a fresh take on the alternative rock genre. The Liverpool-based band has created a sound that is both eerie and captivating, with elements of punk, psychedelia, and electronic music.

The album opens with the haunting track "Fine Dining", which sets the tone for the rest of the record. The band's use of dissonant guitars, distorted synths, and unconventional percussion creates an unsettling atmosphere that draws the listener in.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Mirage", which features a driving bassline and catchy guitar riffs that will have you tapping your foot along to the beat. The song's chorus is particularly strong, with lead singer Ade Blackburn's vocals soaring over the instrumentation.

About Clinic

Formed in 1997 after the demise of , debut single 'IPC Subeditors Dictate Our Youth' made BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel's end-of-year Festive Fifty. Debut album 'Internal Wrangler' contained the track 'Second Line' which was used in a Levi's jeans TV ad, whilst 'Walking With Thee' from the sophomore album gained the band an appearance on The David Letterman Show in the US. 'Come Into Our Room', a track from the same album was featured in episodes of both US shows CSI and The O.C. and 'If You Could Read Your Mind' from fourth album 'Visitations' appeared in the 2007 film 'Hallam Foe'. Clinic usually appear live wearing medical scrubs, with their faces hidden by surgical masks. Members: Jonathan Hartley, Ade Blackburn, Brian Campbell & Carl Turner
