A tour de force in pop, jazz, and easy listening music, with something for any fan of those three styles. The backing musicians share his fondness for bossa nova. I can quibble with or about Claus Ogerman's contributions, but not quite enough to deny this a five-star rating. Did it sell? No-it peaked at 119 on the Billboard 200. Is it as important as George Benson's Breezin', which was named record of the year in 1976? Absolutely!
