A carreira dos Maranata, agrupamento saído de um coro de igreja, inicia-se em 1971. O EP "He's Everything To Me" foi gravado por artistas com idades entre os 17 e os 30 anos:
MYRIAM BAIÃO, ELISABETH SALA, ISABEL BEATO, ANDREA STEELE, LUÍS CARLOS BEAT,O MIGUEL BAIÃO, ANTÓNIO SALA, GERALDO MARTINS, ALLEN STEELE. Gravaram alguns álbuns e vários singles. O «Grupo Maranata» do António Sala, do Enoque Pinto, da Miriam, da Elizabete Sala, do Pinto, voltaram aos palcos em 8 de Janeiro de 2017, no Luisa Todi, em Setúbal, com lotação esgotada, após 34 anos da sua última actuação.
