Little Wings - Made It Rain

Little Wings' latest album, Made It Rain, is a stunning collection of lo-fi indie folk tracks that showcase the band's signature sound. The album is filled with a variety of instrumentation, including acoustic guitar, banjo, and harmonica, all of which are layered beautifully with the band's dreamy vocal harmonies.
From the opening track, "Scuby," listeners are immediately drawn into the album's world of introspection and contemplation. Little Wings' lyrics are both poetic and relatable, exploring themes of love, loss, and the human experience.
One standout track is "Light Green Leaves," a hauntingly beautiful ballad that showcases lead singer Kyle Field's delicate and emotive vocals. The song builds slowly, with layers of guitar and harmonica coming in and out, creating a mesmerizing soundscape.
Another highlight is "Where," a more upbeat track that features a catchy melody and playful lyrics. The song is a standout on the album, showcasing Little Wings' ability to create both introspective ballads and catchy, foot-tapping tunes.

- Recorded on cassette tape live in The Dream Yurt, high on the cliffs of Big Sur, California, above the Pacific Ocean, one late night in May 2011, in the midst of a gentle but unrelenting rain storm which eventually cut the party short by outing the power. "Made it Rain" is a wild artifact from the wild west.

- "For this 2nd edition we've stepped up the hand-made packaging big-time. Each jacket was individually hand-painted by Kyle Field. The back of the jackets sport an elegant, gradient letter-pressed design. And the vinyl is just dreamy... various colors were swirled together to make each record entirely unique, some a mixture of opaque and translucent colors. "
- Ltd Ed First Pressing of 300 LPs in covers that were hand-painted by Kyle Field of Little Wings. A split release with the awesome Gnome Life Records in Big Sur (www.GnomeLifeRecords), Made it Rain was originally released on Cassette as part of their Echomancy series. PIAPTK, GnomeLife, and Kyle each have 100 copies.
