Professional Musicians React sent me here. Just discovered Lewis a couple of months ago. Haunted by this song.
Very interesting music and voice.
So much more Lewis on Youtube suddenly. My wife and I watched Lewis play at Ronnie Scotts one night - we felt so cool standing next to Paul Weller at the bar. The music was incredible... such a fan
What a groove, what a voice .. oozes soul
This song was such a jam. That's also when Bilal came out.
I never knew this video existed! It's too bad these Vevo videos aren't available to watch in the US.
Love to you from Stav and me.
If ever I needed a song... THIS
A genius up there with Brian Wilson and Marvin Gaye with a bit of Ernie Isley thrown in. A pity he wasn't recognised as such.
wow, Thank you for posting!!!! He's a true genius.
This song, always reminds me of seeing sunshine after the storm (especially 2:36 part).

Awww Lewis....still gives me goosebumps every time I hear this ?
25 years on and I've just discovered Lewis Taylor. Shame on me. What a lost talent.
Totally amazing voice and guitar. Just discovered Lewis Taylor on YouTube by going to a Carleen Anderson video. Next to Al Green the most soulful, emotional vocals. Hope he will put out more music.
Man, it's been 25 years since I first heard this, I know every word and lick on that album, and I STILL get shivers!
?. Brilliant. It's made my day. Cheers for posting. ?
Never thought I'd see the video for this in my lifetime! Thank you for posting
