Laura Nyro Live At The Bottom Line is an exceptional album that showcases the immense talent of the late singer-songwriter Laura Nyro. Recorded in 1988 during her final tour before her untimely death in 1997, the album captures Nyro's captivating live performance at the iconic New York City venue, The Bottom Line.
The album features Nyro's most beloved songs, including "And When I Die," "Eli's Comin'," and "Wedding Bell Blues," as well as some lesser-known tracks such as "Broken Rainbow" and "Save the Country." I love her songwriting seemingly in a modular form. Quite a talent considering her hits as well. I wish I were old enough at the time to appreciate her when she was alive.
