I have this album and love it. Been watching a lot of Family lately. This is my favorite song on the album. Really well done disco funk here! Appreciate they let Kristy's attitude and old headed personality come through on this. Today they would've used auto tune to make her more natural teen voice sound pitch perfect. I think in terms of 70s teen star songs, this is easily among my favorites. Kristy McNichol has a lot of spunk to her. And it really shows up here.
I still have the LP and a couple of the singles. I had a HUGE crush on Kristy.
They did this song on the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon!!!
I won the Gong Show to this song when I was in 5th grade.
