Review by Florentino DeLaguna

Joaquín Madurga's album Vamos A Belém is a delightful collection of Latin American folk songs that will transport listeners to the heart of South America. The album features a variety of instruments such as guitar, mandolin, and percussion, all of which blend seamlessly together to create a rich and vibrant sound.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "La Cumparsita," a classic tango that is given new life with Madurga's interpretation. His guitar work is impeccable, adding a layer of complexity to the already intricate melody. Another highlight is "El Condor Pasa," a traditional Andean song that has been covered by many artists over the years. Madurga's version is faithful to the original while still managing to bring his own unique touch to the arrangement.
