This brings back more memories of my father, playing steel guitar in our basement.....
Jerry is the one that all your great players wish they could play like. My old man was a Nashville Pro and even after my dad converted to pedals (in 1950's), he always held Jerry in the highest regard. If you ever get a chance to hear Jerry play "Limehouse Blues" on his 7 string Bakelite Rickenbacker you will be amazed.
Glad I came across this. Thanks so much for posting this video. A beautiful performance by a legend, and even if he was not, still a most beautiful performance. Thanks.
Rudi Wairata a fantastic player
I have searched for this song for about 50years. The local country music radio station would sign off nightly at sunset and play this song. I can remember my parents walking down the long driveway holding hands to watch the sunset meanwhile this song was playing on the radio. The most awesome of awesome memory!! I'll be all smiles tonight has been found. Thanks
All he needs is Jack Clement singing.
Jerry plays the most ugly steel guitar on the planet. Jerry really liked this guitar.
My Dad used to play this one....I really miss hearing him....thanks for posting it....
