The Heartbreakers - Jerry Nolans Birthday

Review by HAT SMARTHOME

Jerry Nolan's Birthday by Heartbreakers is a 10-track album that pays homage to the late drummer of the New York Dolls and the Heartbreakers, Jerry Nolan. The album features a collection of live performances of classic Heartbreakers songs, including "Chinese Rocks" and "Born to Lose," as well as some lesser-known tracks.

The album captures the raw energy and punk-rock attitude that the Heartbreakers were known for, and the live recordings give listeners a taste of what it was like to see the band perform in their prime. The guitar work of Johnny Thunders is particularly impressive, and his solos are as ferocious as ever.

Summary by HAT SMARTHOME

While some of the tracks suffer from less-than-stellar sound quality, the overall vibe of the album is gritty and authentic, much like the Heartbreakers themselves. Fans of punk rock and the New York Dolls will appreciate the tribute to Jerry Nolan and the Heartbreakers' legacy that this album represents.
