Notes
- Bob Mould, Grant Hart and Greg Norton played their native St. Paul's in Minnesota immediately prior to the release of Flip Your Wig, the second of two albums from 1985. The legacy of this album can be confirmed by Mould's own defining reference to it as "the best album Hüsker Dü ever did".
- Their legacy is widely documented & highly regarded and has allowed Bob Mould to reveal himself as one of modern rock's most influential lights. Drawing on recent repertoire from New Day Rising, Flip Your Wig and featuring songs from the following year's major label debut Candy Apple Grey, Hüsker Dü's Minneapolis show is a real draw for Spin Radio's 'Concert Series'.
- Interference proudly presents the entire, original SPIN Radio broadcast of Hüsker Dü, live from the First Avenue Club, Minneapolis on 28th August 1985.
- Professionally re-mastered original FM broadcast with background liners, interviews and rare archival photos.
- Notes: There are numerous errors on this release. The tracklisting on the rear inlay lists 21 tracks, but the CD only has 17. The numerical order is also erroneous on the rear inlay as it doesn't list a 14th track.
- Track 15 is '(You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care / The Wit And The Wisdom / (You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care (Reprise)'
- Track 16 is 'Green Eyes', which isn't listed on the rear inlay.
- Track 17 is 'Divide And Conquer'.
- The copyright denotes that it is a 2016 release and not 2015.

About Hüsker Dü
Punk/hardcore trio who were formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, in January 1979. Hüsker Dü (which means "Do you remember" in Danish and Norwegian, but is actually spelt without diaereses) mixed pop and punk music and consisted of guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist Greg Norton and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart. They started out as a punk band before gravitating toward hardcore then expanding into more melodic songs. After releasing a string of albums, Hüsker Dü split in January 1988 due to Grant Hart's alcohol and drug problems, and the suicide of the band's manager, David Savoy Jr.
Bob Mould went on to form , whilst Grant Hart formed with both of them disbanding their respective groups in the mid-'90s and going on to only produce for their solo projects. Greg Norton is no longer involved in the music business, which he gave-up to become a restaurant owner.
Grant Hart died of cancer on September 14th 2017.

If this was released on DVD I'd buy it immediately
I was there! Pretty sure I still have the ticket stub.
RELEASE THIS WHOLE SHOW
The microphone can hardly handle the raw power. I'm sure the meters are redlining. Man those were the days, when we all had more hair and less aches and pains. Peace out to kids of the 80s
Rest In peace grant! Long Live Husker
The Girl Who Lives Ón Heaven Hill!
When New Day Rising came out in early 1985, I listened to it almost daily. My copy is signed too, with a shark, drawn my Grant, jumping out of the water. The album was thoroughly discussed among my group of friends for a very long time. Excellent song from an excellent record.

Interesting how Grant was bold and pompous taking Bob Mould to court, but then was practically begging Bob for his friendship and time in his later years. This was another case of someone who tried to take the spotlight away from the real talent of the band. Grant should have accepted his role and turned the arrogance attitude down a notch, and maybe we could have had Husker Du for a much longer period. Unlike Grant's post Husker years, all of Bob Mould's releases are instant classics and he has been successful in all his endeavors. RIP Grant.
Need more! Please!
r.i.p Grant Hart :/
RIP Grant
"Fuck you channel 2" good one!
