Thank you so much for this download l was 17years old when l first heard this Song, didnt think l would hear it again , then decided to Google it. Amazing how a Song brings memories flooding back.
well done.
Beautiful bravo.
Thank you for this download, My dad's favorite artist, Frankie Laine, again, thank you!
This might well have been the B side to "The Thief" (with which I am not familiar) in the States but in the UK it was definitely released on the Phillips label and was I think the B side to Frankie's 1954 hit "My Friend". I feel that Frankie's fabulous voice was at it's peak around this period in the middle 50s. I never tire of listening to his records. He really was truly one of the utterly supreme all time greats of popular music and completely irreplaceable.
@cf1934 i dont know i would like to.i have had this song in my head since i heard it as a very young man but nobody ever seemed to know wot i was on about.i did ask a lot of disc jockeys but they looked at me as if i just escaped from some strange place.
@markalson1938 Thank You!
@cf1934 on the flip side of this 1954 Columbia recording was "The Thief"
Nice song!What was the "A" side?"
Fabulous! I had this on an old 78 and played it as a child over and over again. Thank you so much for updloading it.
Your very welcome, There comes a time when the most valuable thing that you have are your memories.
What a great artist Frankie was. Absolutely
Thankyou so much for this. I never thought to hear it again as I remember it as the B side to an old 78 gramaphone record. Such a Joy to hear it and it brings back happy memories.
