Evyltyde's self-titled album is a treat for fans of classic heavy metal. The London-based band's debut release is full of catchy hooks, soaring vocals, and blistering guitar solos that harken back to the glory days of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Lead singer Hannah Delaney's powerful voice is a standout feature, and she has a knack for crafting memorable choruses that will have listeners singing along. The album's production is top-notch, with each instrument occupying its own space in the mix, and the guitar work of Danny Merton and Aaron Neylon is particularly impressive. Standout tracks include "Eye for an Eye," "Inferno," and "Chasing the Dragon," but there's not a weak song on the album. Evyltyde's debut is a strong statement of intent from a band that is sure to make waves in the metal scene.
