Wunderbarer Score ..... Dank auch an wrangleroooo.
Brilliant
Who the hell rejects morricone ?
Maestro ??
This score just didn't sound right for the movie. I like parts of the score they used by Michael Kamen better. I think both scores missed the mark for this film, but a lot of that depends on the producers and director's interpretation.
holy cow. VASTLY superior to the score they used.
Best movie, best actor, best music, best director. This was filmed perfectly. ????❤️? R.I.P Robin Williams.
you can purchase this cd-it is combined with "red sonja" on one cd................
Thank you so much for uploading this I have been searching for it forever!
IF not, one of the most Beautiful movies I have ever seened right beside Casper.. *)

This melody looks on a few dollars more than you think
wrangleroo, Morricone's score WAS in the film when it was shown to a sneak preview audience. The showing did not go well and the producers decided the first thing yo go was Morricone score. the film had other problems, like an alternate ending showing both the wife and husband being reincarnated as babies in India (which destroys the ending of the book), but Morricone's magnificent score was not the problem.
No it doesn't. The score was never released for public, it was just used for promotinal use only! So its kind of very rare. Thats why, I decided to do it:)
this cd exist?????? is amazing the Morricone`s music
RIP
This score is so amazing.. Too bad they didn't use it!
Rest In Peace :(
Masterpiece !!!!!!!!
Can't believe this was rejected. Come on Vince Ward!
From 5:38 on is Pure Maestro Morricone with a string arrangement as unique to The Maestro as Hendrix's tone, Tommy Bolins's tone and pick attack, Sinatra and Eva Cassidy's phrasing and Sergio Leone's images and film movement were to them. Kamen's score is not an insult as it is quite beautiful but it is generic. Any one with a a fair knowledge of film music would know The Maestro's beautiful phrasings, string arrangement and Edda D'ell orso's one of a kind wordless vocal accompaniment. The only truth here is not the foolish decision to scrap The Maestro's score but that Ennio Morricone's legend will live on for many decades as long as generations to come have ears to hear and hearts to feel. Sadly, this film has already been forgotten by it's own generation.
Beautiful!
Another masterpiece from Il Maestro Immortale.
I like this composition although I have no musical talent. I feel thogh that myheart strings are dancing along and my mind can see it in colors vividly. Thank you.
Stumbled upon this after Ennio died... and Michael Kamen who died many years ago but is still among my favorite composers. One would have to think how this film would've been if they had BOTH teamed up to write the score.
Rest in Peace Maestro Morricone and Robin Williams.
I wish Robin Williams was still alive ?? He was such a good man.
DID YOU STEEL IT ?!OR WAS IT STOLEN
