Review by Douglas Oliveira Rodrigues

El Simbolo's album Felicidades is a lively and cheerful collection of Latin pop tracks that are sure to get listeners dancing. From the upbeat opening track "Felicidades" to the infectious "No Te Preocupes," the album is packed with catchy melodies and energetic rhythms.

The band's signature blend of traditional Latin rhythms and modern pop sensibilities is on full display throughout the album, with tracks like "La Cumbia Del Sol" and "La Luna Y Tu" showcasing their unique sound. El Simbolo's vocals are smooth and confident, and the instrumentation is tight and well-produced.

About El Simbolo

El Símbolo is an Argentine Latin-pop band, formed in 1993 by Frank Madero and Ramón Garriga, who came from the group TNN (The New Nation) with which they had great success in Europe with the song La Cucamarcha, a version of La cucaracha and songs 1, 2, 3 and Levantando las Manos. The band was formed in 1993 in the Province of Buenos Aires after losing a lawsuit with their previous producer, which forced them to change their name. In 1994 they released their first single titled Don't worry, (a version of Matthew Wilder's "Break My Stride") included on their debut album El Símbolo, which reached the top of national radio stations that year. During 1995 they toured Chile. In December of that same year they released Madagascar, their second album that finally went on sale in 1996. Later, they moved to Brazil for a month and a half. Upon returning to Argentina, they present the second single from their second album, titled Te quedas junto a mí. That same year, Garriga left the group and began his solo career in the musical world. Later that year, they present Levantando las manos and Dame el jamón, both singles included in a dance compilation, as part of a preview of their third album. In 1998 they released the album titled No pares! 1 The first single was Toda la noche and the second was 1,2,3. Two years later, in 1999, Hit Mix came out, a CD with remixes of his best-known songs, and in 2000 Simbódromo, with songs like Stand up and dance, Raise your hands, 1,2,3, Canta, etc. They participated in the Viña del Mar Festival at the same time that they released their sixth album in 2001, under the name of Latin Beat, which allows them to expand further internationally. In 2003 they released the EP format Suddenly California from which the song that gives the album its name comes off as the first single. In 2005, the band created a new formation, bringing together a group of dancers from different Latin American countries, and since then, they have performed at shows accompanied by two dancers from the group. His seventh record, Muévete, included several hits such as El quebra'ito, Muévete and pa'ante y pa'atrás. Already in 2006 his eighth album was released in Mexico and the Caribbean; a double album with the name of Éxitos + DVD, including 17 songs and 15 video clips in DVD format. In March 2008 they embarked on a tour throughout Mexico, promoting their new single Bandido ban ban, and released their new album Mundo Pop. For the European summer of 2010, they released the new single Mami Pump it up on Vale Music/Universal. They have toured Chile, Mexico and Europe in 2011, with the new productions Baila fiesta and Ritmo bomba, which were prepared and launched worldwide for the summer.
