Downpour's Flyaway is a powerful and emotional album that showcases the band's talent for crafting heavy, yet melodic music. The album features a range of dynamic tracks, from the soaring opener "The Serpent's Tongue" to the haunting ballad "Sorrow's End". Throughout the album, vocalist Brian Fair delivers a commanding performance, with his raw, emotive vocals perfectly complementing the band's crushing guitar riffs and thunderous drumming. Standout tracks include the anthemic "Stripped Away" and the epic "The End of the World". Flyaway is an impressive effort from Downpour, and a must-listen for fans of heavy music.
